A view of a Tech controlled Keep
A Keep is a location sought by many Factions. It contains a factional Control Point, a Door and LifeNet Generator (destroyed) that can be upgraded, a Keep Teleporter, Death Toll merchants, an Auctioneer and sometimes a Workshop. It also contains a factional Quest Defense giver (such as a CHOTA Warrior or Tech Engineer) that grants Death Toll points upon completition. Towers only contain a factional Control Point.
The Keeps at The District vary between these three: outskirts ones contain a flag, inner middle ones contain the typical set but have a different building design, and the center one contains the same but has a different building design that has two Doors, two Walls, and four Keep Teleporters..
If the Keep belongs to your faction (and the fact that you can not open the only door available), you can make use of the Keep Teleporter around the walls of the building to enter. Inside, you will be able to interact with the many vendors and structures. To exit said structure jump from the windows.
In order to start the capture process of a Keep belonging to another faction, one must attack and destroy the Keep Door. As soon as the Door is attacked, the Keep icon in the World Map will be shown with flames, alerting other players of the attack. Once the door is destroyed, you can interact with the faction Control Point to start the final event.
If enemy players that belong to the Keep's faction are present before the door is destroyed, you must get rid of them in order to proceed with the Event. The player must remain within the zone for five minutes. If the player successfully retains the Control Point in those five minutes, the Keep will change to the player's faction.
Also, every member of the team will receive a Faction Control Crate in the mail. [Field Test needed]
In order for a defender to retain the Keep, all attackers must be dealt with succesfully. If defenders fail to stop enemies from interacting with the Control Point, or they were not present at the moment, they are given 5 minutes to resolve the situation. The notification can be seen in the World Map, by hovering over the Keep icon.
Any valid PvP player can attack a Keep and destroy the Doors, but only faction players can initiate the Control Point capture. From these players, only those who are below or equal to the maximum level of the PvP zone can actually start the event.
