New clones will first encounter a Speaker of the Net NPC in any of the 3 starting towns (Clinton FARM, Boneclaw, or Midway). At level 4 they provide a brief introduction to the CoGs story mission line and instruct you to seek out Geoffrey Baylor as the start of the mission Guns of Heaven.
They prize machines and technology above all else, but in a primitive, more tribal manner. Most if not all hostile NPCs of this enemy faction you encounter will wield melee weapons and not guns.
