Mutated Sporekill is Scavenger Boss summoned by using Combined Strange DNA Samples which can be crafted if you have the General Mutagenics knowledge.
The recipe for Combined Strange DNA Samples requires:
- Strange DNA Sample A, Strange DNA Sample B, Strange DNA Sample C and Strange DNA Sample D - rare loot from Underdwellers in Mutant Bunker marked on map as "Mutants" in Terminal Woods.
Once you use Combined Strange DNA Samples red "X" mark appears in Terminal Woods (west of Rock Bottom or in Deadfall (south of Foothills). Location depends on place where you will use that item. When you reach waypoint Mutated Sporekill appears.
This Boss isn't hard to kill, he can be killed in team of 2-3 players. He has lot of health points so bring lot of ammo, you can't use melee there. Good tactic is running around Boss in circles and shoot at him. Mutated Sporekill can deal 500+ damage to player who get too close to him (melee range) so you need use ranged weapons only. This Boss also spawn small group of mushrooms under your feet and if you stay a while on them you will get 300+ insta damage and some kind of acid damage. More players around = more mushrooms in that area so that's why this Boss is better to kill in small team.
Except high tier of tradeskill components Mutated Sporekill always drops 1-3x Impure Volatile Chemical and 1x random General Book. He has also approx 30% chance to drop lockbox key.
