The reason the experience is being changed for those missions is because you're higher level than the "intended" level.
For example, a mission with an intended level of 1 gives 500 experience, but for every level above that it will give 10% less experience. At leevel 2, it'd give 450 xp; for level 3, 400; for level 4, 350, etc... Until you hit theminimum experience of 10% which would be 50 xp in this example.
Also, if you do a mission while below it's intended level you get 10% more xp for every level you are below the intended level. So for a level 5 mission that gives 500 experience, you'd get 550 at level 4; 600 at level 3, etc.
I imagined it might be like that. However to be practical with the current edition of the game, since clones now have to travel to Depot 66 (and other 'decommissioned' starter towns like North Burb, South Burb, Mumford, Zanesville, and Terance), and will likely only do so after getting their Old Nag horse, in effect this is the level of experience they will actually get on those starter town missions. Thoughts?
Ok, understood. I will work on reverting some of the recent edits to the Depot 66 starter missions. I did catch some spelling and content errors though the first time through, so I'll count those as progress.
Hi there. I was wondering what your name is (or names, if you have multiple characters) in-game. I generally go by Ovidia Midway (my crafting/Vista main), Regencia (my Lightbearer), Gendall (lowbie going through starter towns) and Azurae (another lowbie used to check on low level stuff).
When adding a new merchant NPC, I've been using the handy NPCBox template, adding coordinates in the 'loc' tag as "X:6750480 Y:5128418". This 'loc' tag then shows up in the NPCTable template in the Category page as "/waypoint X:6750480 Y:5128418" ... that looks like it was meant to be quickly cut and pasted into the FE console as a quick way to add waypoints to the game (great idea).
However that format doesn't work correctly for cut and paste. This format does work: NPCBox loc "6750480 5128418" -> NPCTable "/waypoint 6750480 5128418" which does cut and paste correctly.
Any objection if I switch to the 'cut-and-paste friendly' format?
Small annoyance - NPCtable in the Category page doesn't 'refresh' the waypoints column when the individual NPC loc tag is changed - at least I haven't figured out how to do it! So far I am removing the NPCTable, saving as a minor edit, then re-adding in the NPCTable and saving again. Is there a better way to do this?
Hiya Cr8r, it will update automatically over time, but sometimes it takes a couple days for the wiki to republish pages. If you need to update the page, just edit and publish the page with no changes and it should cause the template to requery the data and update.
@Cr8r, I happened to see this post and I took care of that for you. I'm not sure how the proces continues on but I marked it as a page that should be deleted. I think Gurmil commits the actual deletion but I'm not 100% sure.
