I found a Thomas Grynche, just outside Embry, at /waypoint 4191813 3237552, which might have some rare loot. He only appears during the First Night event, and there may be more such bosses in other sectors.
Miao, thanks, I know about him. He is a part of First Night event to more secure camp area with ELFS. He is in each camp in each sector, so that means he is on 7 spots in the game. I don't know if he has a rare drop so we have to find it. :)
Oh I'm sorry I forgot to check that state. I fixed that now but I noticed there is a problem with NPCs whose were "converted" to "Object". Link to NPC always stay in its MissionChat as NPC (not Object) so it is impossible to change that data.
Really? I noticed that this effect is triggered during battle with enemies listed in "Enemies used by" (randomly during battle, sometimes when enemy hits you, sometimes later). If this effect isn't triggered by enemy then what triggers that?
Hi, I added Refine Genetic Material Mix to Special Manuals because in this category are sorted special manuals which can be obtained only from special missions, special merchants, events or as rare loot from some mobs, so this one can be obtained only if you are in Tech, LB or CHOTA faction or if you have one of these faction as friendly, similiar to Racketeer's Med Kit Manual or other faction manuals. Player without good Tech, LB or CHOTA reputation can simply miss that recipe.
True is that Refine Mutant Genetic Material isn't sell by faction merchants as other special recipes, so it shouldn't be in Special Manuals category because it can't be missed due to faction repo. This one category - fixed.
1. Do you know if there was an update post-beta of the game where the Dijon Mustard was added? It's found in Improved Cold Prep 3 but the article doesn't exist. So I was wondering if there was an update where this item was introduced without anyone knowing. It's also the only food item from the non-special manuals which has a description, and it reads "Because you demanded it."
2. Do you know of any Veteran mobs in the Pine Valley area which has an extremely quick respawn time, which at the same time is easy to kill?
Heya Guinylen, seems Nullach was faster then me so 1st question is answered :)
2. In the Pine Valley area there are not many Veteran mobs, I remember that 5 or 6 of them have fast respawn time in White Crow Fortress where they guard their boss or you can try Briggs Point (few lizard dog veterans around location with Cerberus or inside Briggs Point facility).
As I see Pine Valley area include that camp and also include Blackridge (no Veterans there), Gaia (no Veterans there, only faction Bosses), Tannerfield (no Veterans there, only lot of bosses - Pale Ones, Grendels) and Park City (no Veterans there). Of course plus nearby places but as I rememeber good there are also no Veteran mobs.
Best place to kill Veterans with fast respawn in sector 3 is near garage in Traders Flat. There is small camp with CoGs, or at place with Human League mobs called Recruitment Center (Veterans are inside mineshaft), but sadly for you it's not Pine Valley area.
EDIT: Seems part of Pine Valley is also Earthbound Retreat bunker, so inside there is lot of Veteran mobs (dogs, soldiers) so you can try that place but it's not easy to survive there alone on lower level. Veterans can give you strong stamina debuff. To that place leads you this instanced mission.
Hey, I'm not sure if there are any rules, but IMHO the mission area should be the location, where the mission is started, not where it ends. Therefore I'm not so happy with your edits on "Back to (Faction) Camp".
Hey Null, yes I noticed that some mission areas are filled in mission box by start location of mission and some by end of mission but I think that if mission has steps where you dont talk with NPC (self finished) then IMHO it's more logic that in mission location is end of mission. Reason is that if you select location in category for example Category:Traveler Encampment then you should see what mission/s can lead there (Back to "faction" camp - report to NPC).
If it should be opposite way then we can have locations where you need to do mission but in category of location mission won't be included (for example sencond step of Mission: Down with Disease (2) wouldn't be included in Shiva's Blessed Mine because there isn't NPC who gives you 2nd step which you will gain automatic after finished 1st step; that means that Category:Shiva's Blessed Mine have no missions there).
If my thinking above isn't right then I have no problem with getting my edits of "Back to (faction) camp" location back to original.
I understand your argumentation and I see that this isn't a question, which one can answer with "yes" or "no". Especially the auto-started missions during a chain, after achieving the previous goal, are not easy to handle.
So we should just act to the best of our knowledge and belief.
