Mission

The Van Kirks have a lock on sludge production in Trailer Park, but the Galloways have been trying to muscle into the business. While the families are sabotaging each other, the Judges and Night Wolves are trying to take advantage. If the Galloways and Van Kirks can't reach a peace, Trailer Park may fall. You've got your work cut out for you: This fight goes back 30 years. Start by talking to Thinker Van Kirk.

Description

Harvey Lou Bailey: I swear to God, I might end up killing them all if they don't kill each other first.

Player: What's going on?

Harvey Lou Bailey: The Van Kirks and the Galloways. Same shit, different day. They've hated each other for about 30 years. The Van Kirks moved here a few years ago, struck it rich in the sludge trade, and then, wouldn't you know it, the Galloways came wandering in a little later to edge in on the Van Kirk business.

Player: Why the bad blood?

Harvey Lou Bailey: It's mostly over the Ambrosia oil fields, up near Shackelton. They both had a claim on the deposits and then a cleaner whacked Archibald Van Kirk. The Galloways denied any involvement. Van Kirks didn't believe them. They fought, tore each other up, and then Alec Masters claimed the oil fields for himself.

Player: Sounds ugly. Why do the Galloways want to stay close to the Van Kirks?

Harvey Lou Bailey: That's a damn good question. Pure stubbornness would be my first guess. Thing is, we've got Judges and Night Wolf Bandits to worry about. If the Van Kirks and Galloways can't mend fences, it'll end up putting the whole town at risk. Want to help?

Player:

You want me to jsut jump into the middle of a 30-year-old blood feud between a couple of crazy sludge-farming families? Sure. Why not?

Progress

Thinker Van Kirk: Harvey Lou sent you, hmm? Well, guess that means you're okay.

Player:

I haven't picked a side, but I'm willing to listen.
