Of course! The problem was figuring out exactly when it WAS January first. After the Fall the calendar got a bit confused. Keeping track of the date wasn't so important, and hardly anybody had a working computer to help.

Yes! We found a few working computers here and there, but mostly we used old-fashioned book research to track it down. So now we know exactly when the year starts!

Yeah, it does! It's part of...part of being CIVILIZED. How can we keep records if we don't know what day it is? And there used to be a lot of holidays around this time of year That's our next project: recovering all those old traditions. Even in the wasteland people need celebrations--maybe more than ever!
