Mission:
Emarthengarf has challenged you to hunt boar in the forest and bring back five pieces of tough boar meat.
Description
You must have traveled far, stranger, to reach our secret glade. Be welcome here.
Who are you people?
We are adventurers who have taken refuge in this forest, where we hope to find the lost magic of the elves who once dwelt here. We are few, and have fallen on hard times, but despite our many troubles we hope to raise a kingdom here.
Where do you come from?
Our ancestors were men like any other, save that they looked back to a braver and brighter age, and sought to restore mankind to the state of glory lost when first we began to build machines.
So they decided to just...pretend?
Ah, but 'ttwas no pretending. It is the beliefs of men that shape the world.
Why do you talk like that?
I speak the common tongue so that you will understand. It suffices for trade, but is not so pure and beautiful as the language of the elves. Even so, I do my best to speak courteously.
Do you need some help out here?
Well that you should ask! It might even be that you are the One who was foretold, who shall lift us up and raise a kingdom out of legend! Today we would hunt boar, but our best hunter, Gorbald, has been wounded. If your heart is brave enough, Ever-Rising One, go into the forest and meet the boars, and return with meat. The boars are cunnign and fierce. You will need all your courage.
