Description

Defense Towns are locations that are attacked by waves of hostile NPC. Players from all factions are called to defend the town from the attackers.

Ten waves of Outsider Invaders charge the city becoming progressively larger and harder from veterans to bosses and masters. Outsider Invaders are sometimes accompanied by Shamblers, Porkupines (level 60) or Shiva-Strenghtened Shamblers who attack them. In last wave there will spawn level 65 The Unknown (Master).

In city there can be placed building with mission "Protect the Outpost" to get reward for killing Outsider Invaders.

Type of enemies can be changed if there are placed Outpost Watertowers in the city.

Defense Town Crafting

Unlike other Defense Town's recipes, these require Outpost Currency, and those can only be earned by finishing the corresponding mission Protect the Outpost.

Defense Town Resource Nodes

Up to ten of each Bundle can be placed at town, for a total of 10 node-generating buildings. Just remember that each one of these increase the enemies that arrive per wave, thus making defense harder.

Notes

  • Unlike other Defense Towns, the enemies that appear when the event has started can be changed with the use of Outpost Watertowers.
  • It also features a longer cooldown between event activations, for up to eight hours per chance, unlike the usual near-one-hour for other Defense Towns.
  • The more Pumpjacks are placed, the more resource it spawns, but the more enemies it adds per wave, thus making it harder to defend for a small team.
