Hoover Dam from the Tutorial
The tutorial is designed to allow new users to quickly get to grips with the basic controls, some more advanced parts of the game and to give them a better perspective on the storyline. It takes place 4 years before the point at which you start the game during the "Fall of Hoover Dam", an important historical event. While the tutorial gives the character an introduction to the storyline, it leaves the characters origins suitably mysterious.[1][2]
During the tutorial, characters will interact with all of the main Factions and face a range of foes, from White Crow commandos to genetically engineered super-soldiers. Players will get to use various weapons, including rocket launchers, as well as vehicles.
At the end of the tutorial, you will get to choose which starter town you will start in.
